Daun was founded by two practitioners — one from agriculture, one from large-scale environmental conservation. Together we started greening offices and corporate buildings.
Our Story
We began by bringing nature into urban spaces. We stayed because we couldn’t stop asking why plants were dying.
The Problem
Plants weren’t dying randomly. They were responding to the indoor environment — airflow, glazing, air-conditioning cycles create micro-climates that feel fine to people but can be hostile to biology.
The Shift
We learned to read spaces by instinct. It worked, but it relied entirely on us being present. So we decided to measure it instead.
The Solution
We built sensors to capture conditions where life actually exists — at desk level, at plant level. That decision changed Daun from a service company into a data-first partner.
Today we work across three layers: the health of your plants, the comfort of your people, and environmental data your teams can actually act on.
We don’t just place greenery. We make it accountable.
The Founders
The people who asked why plants were dying — and built something to find out.
