CAE’s aviation academy is long and narrow by design — corridors stretching toward classrooms that welcome students from around the world. The brief was to maximise wall space, bringing greenery into a layout where floor space is limited. The goal was a lively indoor environment that feels welcoming to an international community of learners.

Reading the Light
Not every corner of the academy receives the same light. Where conditions were dim, we selected low light tolerant species that thrive without direct sun. Where a glass ceiling floods the space with natural light, we placed bright light plants that make the most of it. The result is a building where every plant is in the right place — and looks like it belongs there.
